WHERE

We are in Beyoğlu, which is Istanbul`s center for entertainment, nightlife, culture, and shopping.

Beyoglu is live almost 24 hours, which means you can go out relatively safely even at nights. You will have the widest choice of cafes, restaurants, various shops, bookstores mostly lined alongside İstiklal Street at your service even at very late hours.

There are three museums nearby that might be interesting to see. Pera Museum, İstanbul Modern Museum are in the same street as Hotel Troya, Galata Dervish House is on Istiklal Street.

Taksim Square which is like the transportation hub of Istanbul, is only 950 meters.

Major tourist attractions in Sultanahmet area, such as Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapı Palace, and Grand Bazaar are at approximately four kilometers distance, and the best way to get there is taking the T1 tram line from Karaköy Station, since Sultanahmet area is mostly closed to traffic.

HOW TO GET

BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT

Our hotel is right next to Tepebaşı bus stop and quite close to Şişhane Metro Station (M2 line). From Istanbul airport, it is now possible to get to the hotel by metro, by changing the line at Gayrettepe station to M2 line. From Sabiha Gökçen Airport you will need to change to Marmaray Line and then at Yenikapı Station to M2 line. Cash payment cannot be used in public transport, a card called "İstanbul Kart" must be bought. Other points of interest, like Sultanahmet Square, Topkapı Palace, Hagia Sophia, Grand Bazaar etc. can easily be accessed by public transport. FROM THE AIRPORTS BY SHUTTLE BUSES

From Istanbul Airport, you can take Havaist shuttle buses to Taksim stop. These buses take off nearly every 20 mins. When you arrive at the final stop, you can take city buses or a taxi to our hotel. For bus, just walk to the Taksim Bus Stop, which is about 200 meters from there and get on any bus. (all buses from Taksim arrive at Tepebaşı Bus Stop which is 50 meters to our hotel, after three stops). From Sabiha Gökçen Airport, you can take Havabus shuttle bus to Taksim.

FROM THE AIRPORTS BY TAXI

Taxis in Istanbul have to use meters. As of January 2024, a taxi from Istanbul Airport costs about 800 TL and a taxi from Sabiha Gökçen Airport costs about 1300 TL.

If you choose to arrive at our hotel by taxi, here are Turkish instructions for taxi drivers to find hotel easily:

“Taksim istikametinden gelirken: 3. ışıklardan (İngiliz konsolosluğunun önünden )sola dönün daha sonra sağa dönün. 10 mt ilerde soldayız. Unkapanı istikametinden gelirken: Unkapanı köprüsünü geçtikten sonra 3. ışıklardan sağa dönün sonra tekrar sağa dönün 10 mt ilerde soldayız. Ayrıca yeni TRT binasının tam karşısındayız.”
